AuditBeacon Chrome extension & auditbeacon.pages.dev · Last updated: 31 October 2026

Short version: AuditBeacon collects no personal data. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, sold, or shared.

What the extension does

When you click "Audit this page", the extension reads the HTML of the currently open tab (titles, meta tags, headings, links, structured data) and runs 50+ SEO, AEO, and GEO checks on it. The results are shown in the extension popup.

Data collection

We collect no personally identifiable information, health information, financial information, authentication credentials, personal communications, location data, web history, or user activity data — not now, and not in the future. The extension:

Website (auditbeacon.pages.dev)

The free web auditor works the same way: you paste a URL, our server fetches that public page once to analyze it, and the report is shown to you. We do not log, store, or associate audited URLs with any user.

Third parties

We do not sell, transfer, or share any data with third parties. There are none to share — no data is collected in the first place.

Children

AuditBeacon is a general-audience developer tool and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
